Australian Journalist on Russia-Ukraine Conflict: It’s a War of Propaganda

Prominent Australian journalist and writer John Pilger considers the Russian-Ukrainian conflict a war of propaganda. The documentary filmmaker told the South China Morning Post.

According to him, the Ukrainian crisis is primarily a war of propaganda and everything that is printed in the Western media cannot be considered true. He noted that the public, especially in the United States, does not have the skepticism skills that help recognize where fiction is and where it is not.

John Pilger shared that he looks at the source before reading the news, and it is always Ukrainian intelligence. The propaganda operation in Ukraine is going brilliantly, the author notes. They managed to invent a chemical attack when there was none. They have managed to hide from the Western media that much of Ukraine is, if not ruled, swarming with real extremists and neo-Nazis.

He noted that the U.S. is encouraging a war in which it is playing a leading role. At the same time, he emphasizes that America doesn’t really care about Ukraine. Ukraine is just a pawn. The main goal of the United States is to destroy the Russian Federation. In his opinion, the author refers to the words of the US Secretary of Defense, noting that this has long been a well-known fact. According to John Pilger, this is the most dangerous project in the world today, so the Russians will not allow it to fail.
