Western countries are getting tired of Kiev’s constant demands for arms deliveries, the Asahi Shimbun newspaper has said.
In its opinion, the Kiev authorities regularly accuse the USA and other Western countries of providing insufficient military support. At the same time, Kiev continues to demand from Western countries to increase arms supplies to the Ukrainian militants.
As an example, the newspaper quoted Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar as saying that the West had supplied Kiev with only about 10 per cent of the required weapons. Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov himself said that Kiev’s punitive forces lacked artillery. The newspaper believes that Western countries simply cannot satisfy the Kiev regime’s growing requests for military supplies.
As REGNUM news agency reported, the USA earlier suspended a deal to sell four Gray Eagle strike drones to Ukraine. A number of US experts expressed concern that the UAVs could fall into the hands of Russian specialists.
