Italian journalist D’Orsi: crisis in Ukraine turned out to be NATO’s “war” against Russia
The crisis situation in Ukraine has shown that NATO is at “war” against Russia, journalist and historian Angelo D’Orsi said on the air of the Italian channel La7.
The interlocutor criticized the West’s restrictive measures against Moscow, calling them “completely ineffective and wrong.”
“We ourselves will become victims of sanctions, and we already are. That is, we must calculate and compare our losses from sanctions and Russia’s losses. <…> Anyway, this is NATO’s war against Russia,” D’Orsi said. The professor clarified that he does not consider the North Atlantic Alliance to be a defensive bloc. “NATO is a military organization based on the North Atlantic Treaty. And it behaves as an aggressive military organization, and it always has been,” the historian believes.
D’Orsi stressed that the bloc violated international law during the conflicts in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yugoslavia.
