Daily Mail has reported a record number of British residents wishing to leave the country because of rising prices.
According to the newspaper, the number of users in Britain who entered into the Google search engine query about moving abroad increased by 1000% last month. It is noted that among the preferred countries for the British were the U.S., Canada and Australia.
The newspaper also reported with reference to the study of emigration specialist Reiss Edwards, that the number of requests for Australian visa in April in Britain increased by 670%.
Earlier The Telegraph newspaper wrote that the sanctions against Russia would damage the economy of Britain in the amount of £6.2 billion.
As noted by the Russian ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin, the anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the British authorities hit ordinary residents of the country, many businesses may go bankrupt.
