“Our prime minister is making a target out of us,” Britons scared of Russia’s Sarmat missile

Readers of Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper were frightened by the test launch of the intercontinental ballistic missile Sarmat, conducted by Russia. They wrote their alarmed comments under the news of the test.

“The States are already loading their Lego missiles!” – EconomicSavvy joked.

In addition to the Russian missile, the Brits were also frightened by the weaponry of Russia’s ally China.

“This is alarming, especially considering that Russia’s ally China has the world’s first hypersonic missile capable of carrying a nuclear charge,” John Davidson UK wrote.

Commentators also pointed to the number of nuclear missiles deployed by Russia.

“Russia has almost 1,500 nuclear missiles deployed and another 5,000 in reserve,” Omegatrooper reminded.

“And our prime minister is making us a target,” diane7 summarized.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry showed spectacular video of  Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile launch from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. This is the first launch which starts the ICBM flight tests program.
