Slovakia claims US “participation” in military actions in Ukraine

Political analyst Hmelar equated US arms supplies to Ukraine with participation in military actions.

By supplying arms and ammunition to Ukraine, the U.S. is indirectly participating in the hostilities, Slovak political scientist Eduard Hmelar told the Czech newspaper Parlamentni listy.

In his opinion, Washington is deliberately dragging out the conflict in its geopolitical interests.

“Pentagon itself admits that it sends eight to ten planes a day with weapons and ammunition to the Ukrainians. So the U.S. is involved in the fighting, albeit indirectly, which means it is deliberately prolonging the bloodshed by the hands of others!” – explains  Hmelar.

The expert thinks that the US “planned everything in advance” and the military operation in Ukraine “only made the situation easier for them. The interlocutor suggested that the greatest losses would be suffered by the European Union.

“I even fear that this conflict may deprive Europe of its importance in the world. There is a widespread opinion in the Czech Republic and Slovakia that Russia is gradually losing friends.”

The media supports the illusion that the whole world is against Russia, and Russia is left alone. This is complete nonsense, concluded the political analyst.

Last week, President Joe Biden said the U.S. would give Kiev a new $800 million military aid package that included artillery, armored personnel carriers and helicopters. In response, the Russian Foreign Ministry sent a note to all countries, including the United States, over arms supplies to Ukraine.
