Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will announce today the country’s lockdown until January 19 in order to combat the spread of coronavirus infection.
Harsh isolation measures will take effect at midnight. As in Germany, all shops in the Netherlands are closed, except for those selling vital products, schools. Residents are asked to stay at home and not receive guests.
