There, employees of the St. Petersburg Committee for press and media relations came up with the idea of placing on the front pages of St. Petersburg newspapers an image of a person with one side of his face wearing a protective mask, the other wearing a ventilator mask.
The caption under the photo read “The choice is yours.” The initiative was immediately taken up by almost all electronic media in St. Petersburg, and then by media from other regions of Russia. The action brought together almost all journalists and publications in Russia.
