WHO says Europe is depleting health systems

The rise in coronavirus cases in the world scares the World Health Organization (WHO). This was announced by WHO Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a briefing.

According to him, the situation is especially difficult in Europe and the Americas. He warned that health systems in many countries on these continents are depleted.

On the other hand, there is good news about COVID-19 vaccines. Perhaps new means of fighting the virus will appear in the coming months.

At the same time, Gebreyesus warned that the coronavirus vaccine alone is not able to stop the pandemic. According to him, the vaccine will only “complement the other instruments, not replace them.”
